We welcome new head coach Mladen Kašić to Ljubljana. The 62-year-old Croatian strategist has a rich playing as well as coaching career. As a player, he competed at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, where he finished 5th with the Yugoslav national team. In coaching, he has spent practically his entire career in France, where he has tried his hand at both men's and women's volleyball for 26 years. He spent 21 seasons in Nice, where he managed the local first division team. His main goal in Ljubljana is to return ACH Volley to the top of Slovenian volleyball. He will focus on building a team that will enable the club to be successful in the long term. "After 10 months away from top sport, I am very pleased that we have agreed to work together with the management of ACH Volleyball Club. I come to Ljubljana motivated and determined to return the titles in the domestic competitions to the showcases of ACH Volley Ljubljana."

So, after two and a half seasons, ACH Volley legend Matija Pleško is saying goodbye to his position as head coach. Pleško left a great mark with his dedication to the club as a player and later as head coach, for which the club would like to thank him and wish him all the best in his future coaching career.

At the same time, ACH Volley Ljubljana welcomes its first big player reinforcement, namely in the position of libero - the national player Jani Kovačič returns to the Dragons' nest after two seasons of playing in the strongest volleyball league in the world. Jani spent three very successful years with ACH Volley Ljubljana (2016-2019), where he impressed with his performances. Jani said on the occasion of re-signing for ACH Volley Ljubljana: "After two years playing in Italy, I am looking forward to returning to Slovenia and playing for ACH Volley Ljubljana again, where I have fond memories of the team. I am returning to Ljubljana richer with the experience of playing in a very high quality league where every game is its own chapter. I want to help ACH Volley bring back the national and cup titles to Ljubljana. This is also the primary goal of the team in the coming season and I personally believe that we will succeed."

The club is pleased with these new additions and looks forward to a successful cooperation.

Mladen and Jani - welcome!
