The Slovenian champions started the match excellently and justified their role as favorites from the very beginning. The team from Ljubljana dominated in all elements of volleyball, leading 16-11 after a point by captain Gjorgiev. They didn't leave anything to chance; Šket secured the first set point with an excellent attack, and Najdič used a block to secure the victory in the first set (25-16).

In the second set, the Ljubljana players started confidently again. The attack via the first tempo worked perfectly, with the unstoppable Videčnik and Koncilja scoring point by point (5-2). The latter successfully stopped the attacks of the home team twice with a block, maintaining the advantage of the dragons (9-12). Šen, who got the chance to start this time, served an ace, and with two effective attacks, he complemented Šket for a reliable lead of the Ljubljana team (19-14). In the final part of the set, Šen's powerful attack secured the first set point, which the dragons, like in the first set, capitalized on with a block, this time by Videčnik (20-25).

The start of the third set was also marked by the guests; Najdič with an ace (5-2) and Koncilja with a block (12-6) made it clear that the orange dragons wanted to finish the game quickly. And they did just that—increasing their lead from minute to minute and, after a good game with a successful attack by Šen, securing another league victory (16-25).

Statement from ACH Volley Ljubljana coach Radovan Gačič: "We are satisfied with today's game because there were no unnecessary lapses in concentration. We maintained pressure through the serves, and the block worked well. Now we face a very important 14-day period, where we will compete twice with Maribor and also next weekend with Calcit."
