In the 6th round of the Sportklub Slovenian Volleyball League, ACH Volley Ljubljana faced off against Krka from Novo Mesto at Tivoli Hall in Ljubljana. The Slovenian champions once again asserted their role as favorites, achieving another league victory without dropping a set.

The match began with ACH Volley Ljubljana taking control early. Pokeršnik’s ace put them up 4:1, while errors by Bregar and Koncilja extended the lead to 10:5. Coach Mišin’s timeout had little impact on the game’s momentum. Pokeršnik’s powerful attack established a four-point lead at 20:16, and Marovt’s final strike secured the first set for Ljubljana (25:20).

The second set opened with the home team in command again. Marovt, Kržič, and Štalekar’s blocks pushed them to a 7:3 lead, and Marovt’s ace stretched it to 17:11. Esko’s precise sets allowed his teammates to finish attacks effectively. Although Krka closed in late in the set, a service error from Travnik ended it in Ljubljana’s favor (25:23).

In the third set, the Orange Dragons maintained momentum. Esko and Janž Kržič blocked Krka’s attacks, and Štalekar’s powerful strike brought the score to 8:4. Despite another timeout from the visiting coach, ACH Volley continued their intense pace. Marovt’s impressive “pipe” attack reached 23 points, and Šket’s diagonal shot earned the match point. Marovt seized the final point, clinching another convincing victory for Ljubljana (25:18).
