The ACH Volley Ljubljana volleyball team faces their final group-stage match in the most prestigious club competition, the CEV Champions League, tonight at 20:30 in Belgium. So far, the Slovenian champions have earned just one point and suffered defeats in all five matches. However, a victory in today's clash against Maaseik would secure them third place in the group and a continuation of their European campaign in the CEV Cup quarterfinals.

Looking back at their first encounter, the match at Tivoli Arena was filled with twists and turns. Backed by a loud home crowd, ACH Volley led 2-1 but ultimately suffered a narrow defeat, as the visitors prevailed in a five-set thriller (2-3).

Head coach Matjaž Hafner shared his thoughts on the importance of the match and his expectations ahead of the team's most crucial European challenge this season:
“This is the most important match of the season so far. The team is in good shape, highly motivated, and eager to achieve our goal. Every player wants to step on the court and win this game. I hope we stay focused and don’t succumb to the pressure. I know we will give our all and fight to the maximum. I hope and expect a positive result.”
