ACH Volley Ljubljana is active not only in player arrivals, but also in assembling the mosaic of future professional staff. Following the announcement of new coach Mladen Kašić, ACH Volley Ljubljana has extended its cooperation with Rok Satler, who will continue to serve as assistant coach. Jure Ivartnik will also continue his work as a physiotherapist. Samo Korošec is also returning to Ljubljana as a conditioning coach.

For Satler, who spent 10 successful seasons as a player with ACH Volley Ljubljana, next season will be his second in a row as an assistant coach. "I am happy to remain a part of the biggest volleyball team in Slovenia, where the organisation is at a very high level. As an assistant coach, I will stay in touch with top volleyball, for which I am even more grateful to ACH." He is eagerly awaiting the start of the preparations for the new season, adding, "I want to learn day by day, and I also want to pass on the knowledge I have already gained to the players" and concluding, "I can't wait to get started."

Like Satler, Ivartnik is an old friend of the Ljubljana audience and has been working as a physiotherapist at the club for many years. On the occasion of the renewal of his cooperation with the 17-time national champions, he reflected on the past season, which was extremely tiring for the athletes in general, and said: "Last season was extremely demanding for the athletes. Multiple interruptions in training greatly increase the risk of injury. This is something we could not avoid at ACH. I hope that next season we will be back to normal on the field and that it will pass without any major shocks and injuries."

After three years, the conditioning coach Korošec is also returning to the Dragon's Nest and his main task will be to prepare the team for the physical demands of the upcoming season. He is familiar with working with volleyball players, as he also played this role in Kamnik Calcit. Upon his return to Ljubljana, he said, "The physical preparation of volleyball players never ends with the competition calendar. ACH Volley Ljubljana players who are not members of the national team have already received the training programme for the summer period." "The pre-preparation of the players for the preparation in the beginning of August is the key to a successful season. From August to October we will be working on specific volleyball preparation. During this period, the other national team players join the training process and are integrated into the training process through a system of progressive and regressive training planning."

ACH Volley Ljubljana is optimistic about the next season with the professional management team in place.

We wish Rok, Jure and Samo every success!
