The visitors from Ljubljana started the match better and took an early 3–1 lead following a block and a successful attack by Pajenk. The Orange Dragons quickly built a comfortable advantage by the middle of the opening set, with Šen shining by scoring two consecutive aces (7:12). A timeout called by Panvita head coach Fujs did little to change the course of the set, as Pajenk and Šen once again extended the lead to +7 (11:18). The first set was concluded at 15 points after an excellent attack by Jošt Kržič (15:25).

In the second set, Panvita offered stronger resistance and stayed level with the favorites until the 13th point. From that point on, ACH Volley shifted into a higher gear, with Klobučar successfully scoring twice to give his team the edge heading into the final phase (17:20). Najdič sealed the set with a clever tip, making it 22:25.

The third set followed a similar pattern, with a balanced battle in its first half. Pajenk extended the lead with an ace to +3, while the in-form Šket added two decisive attacks to increase it to +4 (17:21). The Dragons eventually converted their fourth match point to secure another victory and maintain their unbeaten run in the championship.

Statement from ACH Volley Ljubljana player Jošt Kržič:

“A great atmosphere in Murska Sobota and a well-deserved win for us. We had the match under control and calmly brought it to our side. It’s great to see full stands even at away matches. Now our full focus is on Thursday’s home return match against Radnički.”
