From the team of the Slovenian national champions, it has been announced that Slovenian national players Jani Kovačič and Alen Šket will continue with the Orange Dragons. Šket, the Most Valuable Player of last season's final series, along with Kovačič, have both been instrumental to the team.

The Ljubljana club has thus retained two experienced players who will continue to support their younger teammates. 32-year-old Kovačič, regarded as one of the world's best liberos, will continue to lead the reception and defense for the reigning national champions. Upon extending his contract with the Ljubljana club, he commented for the club's website: "I am extremely pleased to remain in Ljubljana and with ACH Volley. Despite a significant rejuvenation of the team last season, we proved that with hard work and the right energy, we can still compete at the highest levels. I am excited that next season's team will be a blend of experienced and very promising young players."

Experienced player Alen Šket, who has proven his ongoing value in last season's play, also expressed satisfaction with continuing his journey: "I am definitely pleased that we will continue our path with ACH Volley into the next season. The team will see some changes, but the core, including the coaching staff, remains stable. We have set high goals for next season. We aim to dominate domestic competitions and make significant strides in the elite Champions League, where I hope the draw will be more favorable than last year."

The 36-year-old from Bistrica, who was a key driver in the finals against Calcit and deservedly won the MVP title, will continue to contribute either as an opposite hitter or receiver.

At ACH Volley Ljubljana, we wish Jani and Alen the very best.
