Ljubljana Volleyball Players Secure a Convincing Victory in the Championship
In the 3rd round of the Sportklub Slovenian Volleyball League, we witnessed a match in Ljubljana's Tivoli Hall between ACH Volley Ljubljana and Panvita Pomgrad. The reigning Slovenian champions claimed their third consecutive win, convincingly defeating their opponents with a 3:0 score.

The match began in favor of ACH Volley Ljubljana, who executed their attacks with great efficiency. Štalekar’s solid block gave them a three-point lead (5:2), and the young Marovt followed up with two successful attacks, extending the lead to 9:3. The Dragons maintained their advantage throughout the set, with the experienced Pokeršnik bringing the score to 16:9, and Šket further distancing the Slovenian champions with an ace (20:10). ACH Volley dominated the first set, with Štalekar’s ace bringing the first set point, which Videčnik capitalized on with a powerful middle attack (25:13).
The second set was more balanced at the start, with Panvita taking the lead (8:5) thanks to Bedrač's strong serving, which included three consecutive aces. However, a time-out called by ACH Volley’s coach Hafner helped shift the momentum back to the home team, who soon regained the lead (11:9). Pokeršnik increased the advantage with an ace (16:13), and Štalekar secured the first set point with a spike, which Videčnik then closed out with a block to win the set (25:18).
In the third set, Panvita initially kept pace with the reigning champions. However, in the second half of the set, ACH Volley accelerated. Šen, who replaced Marovt in the third set, contributed with a block and a spike, ensuring a calm finish to the set (23:19). The Dragons celebrated another victory after a serving error from the visitors (25:20).
