Pokeršnik returns to the orange nest

ACH Volley Ljubljana

From the current national and cup champions, ACH Volley Ljubljana, comes the news that Jan Pokeršnik, an old friend of the Ljubljana crowd, is returning to Tivoli. The excellent volleyball player has played for the Dragons for nine seasons, the last of which he successfully represented the colours of Steaua Romania.
The experienced 33-year-old volleyball player, who started his sporting career at Fužinar from Ravne and has also played abroad, in Switzerland, France and Romania, said on the occasion of his signing with ACH Volley Ljubljana: "I'm happy to be returning home, so to speak, because I have spent many successful years with ACH Volley. The team has been rejuvenated and one of the tasks of us older players is to help the younger ones as much as possible." Pokeršnik will be a great help to the young and talented players in the national championship team alongside captain Gjorgiev, Šket and Videčnik. Along with Pokeršnik, Marovt, Šket and Šen will also form the receiving line next season.
