Satler will continue to be assistant coach of ACH Volley Ljubljana
While it is more or less clear who will wear the jersey of the current national and cup champions in the coming season, this has not been the case with the professional staff until today. As previously reported from ACH Volley Ljubljana, there has been a change of coach, with Mladen Kašić being replaced by Radovan Gačič, and the rest of the coaching staff is now also known, with the exception of the aforementioned coach Gačič remaining unchanged.
Rok Satler remains in Ljubljana and will continue as assistant coach. Jure Ivartnik will also continue his work as a physiotherapist, assisted by Taja Kobilica. Samo Korošec will also continue his work as physical preparation coach, while former Slovenian volleyball player Jan Planinc will continue his work as a doctor. For the 17th year in a row, statistician Mitja Torkar will also be a member of the professional staff.
For Satler, who spent 10 successful seasons as a player in ACH Volley Ljubljana, next season will be his third in a row as an assistant coach. "I am extremely happy to remain a part of the biggest volleyball team in Slovenia, where the whole organisation is at a high level. The core of the team remains the same for the next season, which makes me happy and optimistic."
Korošec, who touched on last season and looked forward to the upcoming one, said, "We have created a high level of trust and mutual respect with the players. These two values are crucial for a successful work and quality preparation for the very challenging season ahead. Last season, the players put in a tremendous effort, playing 55 games in seven months, and next season will be no easier."
ACH Volley Ljubljana wish Rok, Jure, Taja, Mitja and Samo a successful season!
