In the 15th round of the Slovenian Volleyball League, ACH Volley Ljubljana and Hoče played in Tivoli. The Slovenian champions won 3:0 (13, 24, 21).

The home team started convincingly and with a block by Pavlović led 7:5, but with two errors by Pesti on the other side the advantage was already 5 points (11:6). The Dragons were also dominant on the opening shot. Captain Ropret made it 14:7 with two consecutive aces, and Vučićević sent an unstoppable serve to the other half of the court for 19:10. The hosts closed the first set with a block at 25:13.

In the second set, the home players took the lead (12:7), but Hoče kept in touch and pressured the Dragons (15:14). Before the end of the match, the Ljubljana players built up a three-point lead (20:17) with Vučićević's attack, but the persistent Hoče players tied the score at 24:24. After a half-minute break, Pleško intervened, and the Slovenian champions went on to score two uncompromising points to win 26:24.

In the third set, we saw an evenly matched battle, in which the Hoče also led 12:9. Ropret reduced the deficit with an ace (11:12), and Vučićević returned the Dragons to the lead (15:14), which they never let slip away. An ace by Videčnik sealed the third set and the Dragons added three important points to their account.

Matija Pleško, coach of ACH Volley Ljubljana: ''With the serve we moved the opponent away from the net, so with this element of the game we achieved our goal. Unfortunately, we were not specific enough in those half-attacks by Hoče or even in the free balls we got. We were very ineffective and quite generous here, which annoyed me throughout the whole game, so the only bright spot today is the three points.''
