Today is the last Champions League appearance of the year

The Slovenian champions will conclude their run among the best teams in Europe today, against Zenit Kazan, starting at 17:00.

ACH Volley Ljubljana will play the home team in the second round of the Champions League in Kazan, but they lost all chances for promotion on Tuesday against Berlin Recycling Volleys. The German champions again beat the Slovenian champions 3-0, while yesterday they had to concede to Zenit Kazan. The Russians again beat Berlin 3-0 to confirm first place in Group C.

The Dragons recorded two wins due to the cancellation of the Poles, but it was against Zenit in Berlin that they impressed out of all the games they played. They are eager to repeat that game, as they proved then that they are capable of standing up to the multiple Russian champions and Champions League winners with quality.
