The opening of the match was marked by a strong attack of ACH Volley Ljubljana, who, thanks to Koncilja in particular, quickly escaped from their opponents from Koroška (6:1). This provoked a reaction from the visitors, who called the first timeout. The Dragons continued to dominate in all elements of the game and after a block by captain Gjorgiev, they were already leading by nine points (15:6). Fužinar volleyball players did not find an answer to the home team's play until the end of the set and lost the set convincingly on the 15th point.

The start of the second set offered better resistance from the guests (5:5), who improved their reception and consequently had an easier time coming to successful conclusions in offensive actions. Despite better play on the other side, the Ljubljana players led by three (11:8) after another Koncilja ace, and maintained the advantage in the second set. Two more unforced errors by the visitors increased the lead to six points (21:15) and a timeout was called by coach Veličković. The set ended after an efficient attack by young Šen(25:19).

This time, the start of the third set belonged to the Fužinar volleyball players, who led 3:0, followed by a half-minute break at the request of coach Gačič. The Dragons managed to catch the opponents on the 10th point and took the lead. The visitors' coach tried to wake up the volleyball players from Koroška during the break, but the Ljubljana players did not let Fužinar volleyball players seriously threaten the convincing victory, which was secured by Koncilja (25:22), the most efficient player of the match today, with an attack over the first tempo.

Statement of ACH Volley Ljubljana coach Radovan Gačič: "I am satisfied with the boys' approach and the result. In the first two sets the opponent offered no resistance, but in the third set we allowed ourselves too many mistakes and allowed the opponent to hold the tie until the middle of the set. Now it's time for a little rest and then it's off to the first Mevze tournament in the Waldviertel."

Statement from ACH Volley Ljubljana player Klemen Šen: "I am happy for the opportunity and the convincing victory in today's match. We had the right approach and dominated the court most of the time. Now we have a busy schedule of matches ahead of us, first in the Mevza League and then the much anticipated start of the Champions League."
