The Orange Dragons turned the tide last week in the first quarter-final match after falling behind 2-1 in sets, and in the end enjoyed a hard-earned 3-2 victory, which puts them in a favourable position ahead of tomorrow's showdown in Tivoli.
In the meantime, both teams continued their winning streak in the domestic championship. ACH Volley Ljubljana defeated House on Wheels Triglav 3:1 in the 15th round match, while Fonta Bastarda's volleyball team recorded two new championship wins against Sporting and Castelo Maia, both 3:1.

The situation in the Ljubljana team is without any major peculiarities, as all players are available for coach Kašić. Both teams will have a morning training session before tomorrow evening's spectacle.

Coach Mladen Kašić and setter Vuk Todorović spoke about their expectations ahead of the game.

Mladen Kašić: "The Portuguese showed in the first game that they are a very good team and can be very dangerous. We have to focus on ourselves and show the right face on the pitch without any black minutes in the game. I am confident of success tomorrow and progressing to the semi-finals."

Vuk Todorovic: "It was far from easy for us in Portugal, as Bastardo showed their quality and proved that they are a very uncomfortable team. The most important thing for us is that we managed to get a good result before tomorrow's return match. There was not much time to rest, as the schedule is very busy. In between we had a game against Kranj, where we rested our players a bit. It is important that tomorrow, as in every match so far, we give our best and are motivated and eager for another success."
