For the current national and cup champions, ACH Volley Ljubljana, the journey in the elite Champions League continues with Thursday's match against Asseco Resovia. The orange dragons, competing in Group B, have shown good resistance in the challenging group in the three previous Champions League matches but are still awaiting their first points.

ACH Volley Ljubljana and Asseco Resovia, featuring Slovenian national team player Klemen Čebulj, clashed earlier this season in Ljubljana's Tivoli Hall, where we witnessed exciting volleyball in front of a crowd of over 4000. The favored Poles secured a 3:0 victory, and they will be the favorites in the return match, where an excellent atmosphere is expected.

The ACH Volley Ljubljana volleyball players started their journey to Poland on Tuesday after the morning training session, arriving in the city of Ostrava in the Czech Republic in the evening. Today, they continue their journey to the city of Rzeszow, where they will have lunch upon arrival and an afternoon rest. In the evening hours today and tomorrow morning, they will undergo two training sessions, and tomorrow at 6 p.m., they will try to face the strong home team.

Statement by coach Radovan Gačič before the Champions League match: "We are aware that another tough challenge awaits us in Poland against a favored opponent who cannot afford another slip-up in front of their home crowd. In the first match in Tivoli Hall, we were fairly evenly matched in all three sets, so I hope we will show our quality in Thursday's match."

Statement by ACH Volley Ljubljana player Jani Kovačič before the Champions League match: "We expect Thursday's match with motivation and a desire to prove ourselves. The atmosphere in the team is excellent, and although the journey has been a bit tiring, now nothing else matters but preparing maximally for Thursday's match and showing our best performance."
