The start of the match was quite even, but the first significant advantage was gained by the home players of Črnuče after a successful attack by Marovt (10:8). The Dragons quickly responded and took the initiative. Kök and Mašulović, with an efficient attack, gained a four-point advantage (12:16). ACH Volley Ljubljana volleyball players were also reliable in the second half of the opening set and won the first set (19:25) after a mistake by Rojnik on the opening hit.

The reigning national champions only stepped up the pace of the game in the following round. In the second set, after a point by Videčnik over the tempo and an ace by Kök, it was more or less clear who would win the set (11:16), only to be finished off by a spirited Bošnjak with two consecutive attacks (16:25).

At the beginning of the third set, Bošnjak and Šen were unstoppable on the Dragons' side and took a three-point lead (7:10). The Črnuče volleyball players were not able to keep up with their better opponents. Bošnjak's two attacks decided the third set (17:23), which ended after Prevorčnik's error on the opening hit (17:25).

ACH Volley Ljubljana coach Radovan Gačič: "It was quite difficult to prepare for another match after the great win on Wednesday. I am satisfied with the team's response and the high level of motivation we had today. We were better in all elements of the game and deservedly recorded another victory."
