In the game, the guests from Pomurje (2:4) started better, but the Dragons quickly responded, leveling the score at the fifth point and then taking the lead (8:6). The Ljubljana team continued to extend their lead and went into the second break with a five-point advantage (13:8). Despite the guests' dedicated play, they couldn't stop the home team's attack in the second half of the first set, and the home team led 21:15. Najdič missed the first set point with an unsuccessful serve, but Marovt capitalized on the fourth set point with a successful attack (25:19).

In the second set, the home team took a 3:0 lead, prompting a reaction from Coach Fujs, who called for a timeout. There were no significant changes after the timeout, and the visiting players couldn't close the gap to less than three points. In the second half of the set, the Dragons continued to dominate Panvita's players and increased their lead to six points (16:10). With such a deficit, the guests woke up a bit and, with a partial result of 1:5, narrowed the gap to two points (17:15). In the final stage of the set, the home team once again pulled away from the opponents, and Gjorgiev ended the second set with a point in the attack at the 18th point.

The beginning of the third set belonged to Panvita Pomgrad's players, who took a 4:0 lead. However, there was another turnaround as ACH Volley Ljubljana's players, with a partial score of 5:0, took the lead by the 6th point. Coach Fujs tried to change the course of the game with substitutions in his team, but it didn't work (10:6). The Ljubljana team continued to exert pressure on the opponents and maintained the lead (18:13). Towards the end of the game, the guests dangerously closed the gap to just one point due to errors by the Ljubljana players (20:19), and Pokeršnik ensured a new victory for the home team with three aces in a thrilling finish.

Statement by ACH Volley Ljubljana player, Luka Marovt: "A good game from our side and a convincing victory. In all three sets, we knew when to step on the gas and distance ourselves from the opponent without major problems. Now it's time for a bit of rest, and then we're already thinking about Wednesday's derby with Calcit."
